Little Dragons: 4years - 7years
In the Little Dragons class, we play a wide range of games with them to help them learn balance, teamwork, etc. We also help them learn new/current techniques that are associated to their current belt. If we have time at the end of the lesson we let them spar wearing the right sparring gear and then a bit of dodge ball. Every so often we go over some basic self-defence with them in order to help them in case they ever need it.
Juniors: 8years - 15years
The Juniors is a bit more advanced as they're older. They have more techniques for their grading plus more belts to go through. We still play some games with them to help with their teamwork etc. We start increasing the amount of fitness we do with the students in the juniors as well as self-defence and conditioning in order to help them get fitness level up and help them toughen up and stay tough. Once they know their basic technique we start letting them spar wearing the correct sparring gear.
Adults: 16+ years
The Adults is basically similar to the Juniors but more intense. We don't do as much games with the Adults but instead we do other activities to increase their teamwork etc. We let the adults spar once they have got an idea of their basic technique using the correct sparring gear.
Ladies Only class: 16+years
The Ladies Only class is the same as the Adults but only for Ladies. Also, they will have a female instructor.
Self-defence/Weapon class: 3+ years (including Juniors and Adults)
We teach self-defence to people who is wanting to learn it, in order to help them in case they are ever in need of it. We start with the basic techniques and slowly start to teach them all the way through to more advanced techniques including knife defence. We do teach weapons to anyone who is wanting to learn them. We can teach a variety of weapons including: nunchucks, bostaff plus many more. Some tournaments will have weapon category in which you will be able to compete in.
Fitness Classes 3+ years (including Juniors and Adults)
The clue for this class is in the name. We focus on the students fitness. We do take them running if the weather is nice, as well as doing a circuit. This is just to help their cardiovascular work to improve their fitness.
